The Index page contains an "Add Entry" button to add a word or phrase and its associated page number. Indexing is not automated, so the developer must use HyperCard's "Find" feature him/herself to determine the appropriate page numbers. (The developer is prompted for the appropriate card id number.) On the other hand, Bookbinder does provide automated (but slow!) alphabetization.
The "Index (cont)" card has different scripts from the Index card, and contains a developer button called "Add Index Pg." This button simply duplicates the card, since the scripts assume that all additional index cards have the same name, fields, and scripts as this one.
The "Notes" card has an "Add Notes Pg." button which duplicates it, including its extra card field. The developer may leave this button in place for the end-user.
